Easter Vigil 2012

Easter Vigil, also called the Paschal Vigil a celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. OLMC welcomes 19 children, men and women that were baptized and that adult catechumens are received into full communion.

He has risen. Aleluya! Aleluya! Happy and Blessed Easter from Fr. Miguel Briseño, Fr. John Curran, and the staff at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish – Ysleta Mission.

San Antonio Relic

On Sunday, November 20th, the Fray Javier Fontana OFM, Conv. of The Messenger of St. Anthony of Padua preached at 7:00 am and 11:00 am Mass. He presented the magazine The Messenger of San Antonio, it is an international journal of Catholic Franciscan spirituality. The magazine is published in the Sanctuary of St. Anthony in Padua Italy, by the Franciscan friars of the Basilica, which guard the body of our beloved saint. Fray Javier brought along with him a “First Class” relic of San Antonio de Padua and it was exposed during the weekends celebration of the Eucharist.
