The Guadalupe Retablo was commissioned by Gustavo Victor Goler. The retablo was installed at the Ysleta Mission by Bishop Armando Ochoa October 12, 2005. The celebration continued the following weekend with an outdoor Mass and the 1st Spanish Market. Before the installation at the Mission the retablo was on display in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
In January 2008 Victor Goler was made an Honorary Guadalupano by the Guadalupanas at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
