Answer God’s call to help our parish worship by being a server. To be at His table to help His celebrations go well so as to promote the spiritual well-being of His people as they come together in prayer.
Role of Alter Servers
Do the necessary preparations for the celebration. Be a prayer leader during the celebration. Serve the assembly and serve God in church.
Becoming an Altar Server is a great way to:
– meet & make new friends
– get to know your parish community
– get involved in your parish
– learn how to prepare the altar before the mass
– learn the parts of the mass
– most importantly, SERVE GOD!
