The Easter Vigil started at sunset on Saturday night with the Blessing of the fire in front of the historic Mission and processed down to the main church where parishioners lit their candles with the newly blessed Paschal candle.
All Catholics should try to attend this beautiful service. The vigil is divided into four parts:
Service of Light,
Liturgy of the Word,
Liturgy of Baptism, and
Liturgy of the Eucharist.
