Easter 2020, Fr. Miguel celebrated the normally joyful Vigil Mass it lacked a congregation and there were no Baptisms, Confirmations for First Communions of new Catholics, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The liturgy was livestreamed so people could participate in it virtually.
On Saturday, April 3, 2021 Fr. Miguel celebrated a joyful Easter Vigil where 12 people became full members of the Catholic Church and received the sacraments of initiation and the church was to allowed capacity.
“What do we tend to do at vigils?” asked Fr. Miguel, “We share stories, we talk about the ones who left us and tonight we have done that. We’ve talked about the life of Jesus, we talked about the history of our salvation.”
